• The Motherland Calls was the largest sculpture in the world at the time of its dedication in 1967 in the last non-religious statue

• Dedicated -15 October 1967.

• Total  height- The  statue 52 meters (170 feet), and the sword 33 meters (108 feet). the plinth, which adds another 16 meters(52 feet).

• The 52 meter figure is made of concrete, and her 33 meter sword is stainless-steel.

•  Designed by Yevgeny Vuchetich, Nikolai Nikiti.

•  The statue is not fixed to its foundations and is held in place only by its weigh.
